I may get some flak for this (especially because I suspect I won’t word this as carefully as I should), but:

honestly its a real show of what Japan values in its protagonists (And antagonists). What we would consider over here as a bland, stone faced, personality less character is considered the height of perfect personalities over there.

Lightning is just female Cloud. An emotionless robot that has been over-hyped to hell.

I mean the management portion of it is what it is, but it’s not like it’s all that different from what the other ones were. I don’t really think the coaster games have ever been that much of a challenge, they’ve always really mainly been about designing your park to look however you want it.

Why does this movie need connection to real world? Why cant it just that the hero is lone survivor of some village what was destroyed by X monster and he is on a hunt for that. It doesnt need any connection to real world

yep... that seems EXACTLY what this game is going for with the fishing, driving, overly done animations and a shiny gloss to everything. This is what happens when you dont know what you want to make and do it for 10 years.
