How about neither? Granted I don't have an iPad, but with a MacBook and an Android phone, I don't still understand the need or use of a tablet.

Everyone knows that 917 is the true NY cell phone number. 212 cells are asshats that transferred the number way after the fact. I've been in LA for over 2 years and still I keep my 917.

I've had sex on a waterbed and a tempur-pedic and have to say they were both awful experiences. I'll take a coiled mattress any day.

Yay! I feel so validated that I actually got a Google update roll out on the early side.

Granted I haven't read all the comments that have been made on this subject, but before this issue is totally dead, does anyone remember that software update that came back when the iPhone 3G was debuted that "fixed" reception issues? You ended up with more bars. Now, being a mild conspiracy theorist, I naturally

I can't help it—I'm totally getting my hopes up for this!

OMG, I love the Jitterbug!! It's on my gdgt want list. "Hello Mr. Fallenyogi. Who would you like to call?" "Get me the number for the Burlington Coat Factory." How rad would that be??

I got a horrible burn while at Jones Beach in NY one year (I think the sand there is pretty reflective) and it probably aged me 5 years. I consulted this Ayurvedic book I was reading at the time and the solution for sunburned facial skin was to rinse one's face with dairy cream. I felt weird pouring cream into a bowl

Best. Photo. Ever.

Yay! I'm excited. Most meetups are in NY or SF, so I'm stoked about the LA love.

@tande04: For their GOOD android phones. (cough Devour cough)

This app made me realize that on the iPhone I mostly used news apps rather than browsing thru Mobile Safari. But the speed and newness factor of Opera Mini has made me start browsing the web again. And the tabbed browsing is pretty awesome. I've already put it in my iPhone dock (now if only the icon was better

I like grumpy, long-winded, opinionated rants. And I totally agree, Adam. Thanks for saying it!

When I switched to an iMac two years ago, I was super excited at being able to use the Mail app and thus use a real desktop email client instead of my web-based Gmail. I loved it; it was good-looking and because it reminded me of sending emails thru Outlook at work, I felt like the Mail app added legitimacy to my act

@pettiblay: Here here! I've never refrigerated ketchup. Cold ketchup is the worst.

I think this is a great move to get people to dip their toe in the Google Voice waters. The full service can be a little uncomfortable. I have a GV number and I love the custom voicemail greetings, "free" SMS, and the web archiving, but I find making a call problematic. There's not a quick way to do it yet. Even

I'm so happy I got my Wave account finally. Unfortunately, the Lifehacker public wave gave my computer mono. Maybe it's a little too ambitious right now. Or maybe my computer and browser need more power. #googlewave

I think it'll be more usefully to finally receive MMS than send it. Not sure how often I'll actually use it—especially since Google Voice doesn't support MMS—but it sure is nice to have options.

All I'm getting is the 404 error page when clicking on the link, and I don't see a link on my Google Voice account screen either. Hmm, curses.
