She says shit like that knowing exactly what it’ll do, which is to get you talking about it... and they got you talking about it.

It’s a focus that should really stop, because it’s blatantly obvious that the producers of The View know this shit will get clicks while doing zero for genuine public discourse about... literally any issue. It’s all fake and we need to stop reading about it.

Which they need to do, because the license fees for these things are outrageous. Even if EA didn’t have the reputation it did, they’d be hard pressed to make a game with a hardcore difficulty.

While I wouldn’t mind that, Sekiro is not a game that everyone can, or does want to play. It requires far more skill than most video games, and you’re never going to sell the creation of a high skill cap, story based SW game to EA or Disney.

.... I never said it was? I get what you’re alluding to, but I was inquiring as to what she thinks those ways are. I’m a working writer and would like to know, so I figured I’d ask someone who’s close to the issue. I’d love to be responsible for creating stories in games some day. So why not ask an informed game

What are some examples of those ways?

“Hey Bob?”

It’s a slow news day for a publication that is only capable of criticism. If they wanted to report on anything good, or even mediocre, and not just bad stuff with extra dashes of hyperbole, they could probably, like... do something good.

Yep. People simple love to write blank slate statements like “these people are not funny at all and never have been” when that’s obviously not the case.

After over 100 years of filmmaking, maybe 5% of movies being made really succeed at what they’re trying to do. It is how it is.

No.... no dude, it doesn’t. I don’t know a single person that watches GoT, and I am friends with some major fanboys and girls, that honestly thinks that monarchy is a good idea.

“There is no other reason.”

Saying that Game of Thrones “promotes feudalism” is like saying the movie Air Force One promotes fighting with terrorists with guns on planes. It doesn’t.

You mean after the first volley? Yep. It’s called “reloading.”

There are good reasons. Say, not to buy soda because it’s basically acid water foaming in your guts, or to go all Marie Kondo on your clothes... but yeah, I really don’t get what point they are making.

I mean if this is a genuine average of EVERY American, including people with loads of cash who eat out every single day (and people who don’t but still do anyways) then it might be a true figure. But the worth of that figure, I think, is pretty meaningless.

Nah I’m good. Rather not do something for someone that can’t understand that when a thing is in front of another thing, it’ll get hit first.

It’s almost like it’s a fantasy show.....

“She thought it was a good idea to stand with a tiny force near her fortified enemy, a vengeful mad queen who then decided not to murder Daenerys and put an end to the war.”
