It’s not $40 every season. This is the cost of a premium pass, with extra currency, extra skins, plus 20 BP levels, plus the BP itself, plus an experience boost, plus the moira skin. The regular BP is around 10 dollars.
Obi Wan grieves Satine’s death for all of five seconds and then it is literally never spoken of again. One of many reasons I find clone wars to be very, VERY overrated.
I think whoever reviewed this from Dualshockers misunderstood the point of the villains in D1,2, and 3. They aren’t supposed to be relatable. They are angels and demons, lords of hell and messengers of God. The whole point is humanity’s frail existence in between.
Ah yes, insulting the people you’re trying to appeal to... because that always works well.
There have been a ton of great movies that aren’t tentpole movies in the last few years.
You are losing this battle and engaging in a monkey’s paw style, unwritten agreement. The more you stay home from watching quality movies in the theatre, the more studios pump out derivative nonsense, and the art form suffers.
“Most of the theater experience” and by what statistics are you measuring this? MOST theatres are empty post covid, so you can’t complain about them being too crowded. Many theatres have upgraded seating and food options. Ticket prices vary greatly depending on when you go. So by what metric are you basing this on?
When it comes to movies, the solution is extremely simple - you have to actually go to the movie theatre, buy a ticket, sit in a seat and watch it. No, streaming a great new movie is not the same. Yes, box office DOES matter for movies that you want to see more of. Yes, you DO have to pay more money for it, but that’s…
The OT didn’t have a strict plan. Lucas changed the story in the OT on a regular basis. To this day he has changed his mind multiple times on what his sequels would have looked like. One day he’s talking about midichlorians, the next he’s saying the villain is Darth Maul leading a shadow criminal cabal.
So what you’re telling me… is that the kid’s movie… generally speaking… is made for kids?
As much as I take issue with Disney, said issue is not relegated to the entire company. Every company has good and bad people in it.
which is okay. All shows that run for a while turn their focus to other characters for a certain amount of time. It’s normal.
That is also possible!
To me its pretty obvious that she is going to try and bring the mythosaur under her control to prove her right to rule Mandalore even without the darksaber. Thats Also why she didn’t mention it to Din.
I really enjoyed this episode quite a lot. I think it’s okay for characters to just do things instead of waxing poetically on dark bridges in noir shadows - not that I mind the latter at all. It’s just two different approaches. Also - many of these events are still playing out in real time. I’m sure Din, for…
I don’t believe that. However, choosing not to buy the games or buy new merch or tickets to see new movies DOES make an impact with the people that make HP mercy. If no one sees the next HP movie, and its explicit as to why, WB simply will not make another one because its too expensive. But its admittedly very tough…
Purchasing the game gives her money to pursue her aims, though. That’s always been the bigger issue. So yes, you are making a difference by not buying it. It’s a pretty simple concept.
Don’t underestimate the ways in which “just movies” or “just shows” or “just games” or “just books” teach people ways of thinking, behavior, etcetera. When I say “it’s just a game,” I mean that it’s not like living in an impoverished area where the only grocery store close by is Walmart, and you can’t afford the next…
The point is that, at the end of the day, it’s a video game. It doesn’t provide you food, shelter, security, a means of obtaining an income - it’s entertainment. It’s an incredibly easy thing to not purchase. It’s also particularly annoying when people say “I’m an ally!” and then buy the game and stream it for…
