Hey, so, how about this..... maaaaybe she doesn’t need to?
Hey, so, how about this..... maaaaybe she doesn’t need to?
You’re still missing my point. There are some 350 million people in America. To expect that they just all understand and to take a harsh “no never” policy about a word is not going to be accepted by all people as long as the word is in circulation in some fashion.
Okay, for you and me in our daily discourse? Sure. It’s that simple. But we are talking about a word at the end of the day. You can’t own a word, so you can’t really stop people from saying it, a word being heard by several hundred million people in music and movies and television in so many forms of media. Also, by…
I get your point, but to have the expectation that the n-word would be blasted in songs all across the airways, and all over the internet, and to not have white people feel confused or conflicted about it, or for some to even think it’s okay to use it... I mean, it’s just gonna happen. And saying your feelings don’t…
“But if we may counter with a non-expert opinion...”
I do believe in the value of your point, but I would say that this is highly situational. I’ve practiced martial arts for years and while there are some ways to defend against a gun, none of them are really that good. As far as civilians are concerned, your best bet is usually not to engage and be compliant, and if…
What sucks about that is that, honestly, the price point for Hearthstone is what is keeping people from playing, or continuing to play. Regardless of balance changes, power imbalance, etc., the game is just too expensive to keep up with. That’s just my opinion anyways...
I remember at DragonCon a few years ago I was at the Walking Dead panel. The moderator very sternly told us in as sassy a voice as possible that if we mentioned spoilers from the show/comic the Q&A would end right then and there. I was like - really? You’re gonna punish the whole group because of one asshole?
“... seed money...”
Has that always been true though? This was in the mid 90's.
It’s almost like... how do I put this...
People love to give Sandler shit - but the guy has done legitimately good movies.
Firstly, all we have is accounts from others of what they were like. Harvey ain’t gonna tell us, neither will his brother. So I thought I’ve made it clear that this is mostly conjecture. Secondly, I never said they all do. Nothing in life is 100%.
I dunno about PC, but on PS4 it literally takes three button presses to invite someone to a multiplayer group.
I dunno dude. If it’s not essential to the game or doesn’t change gameplay, i.e. cosmetic, while also being gainable in game, I don’t see a a problem.
I mean that depends on what you mean by complaining. Tons of people complained on the BFII reddit page and there was a massive downvote, which spurned EA to take action and remove loot boxes.
Yeah dude... that’s why I said “some companies.”
The difference though is team size. Overwatch is 6v6, Galactic Assault is 40v40... I think. Hero vs. Hero is much more manageable and is a lot of fun though. I think its 4v4? Totally doable with friends.
I don’t have a problem with microtransactions as long as they are for cosmetics and you can reasonably gain things in the game. Microtransactions keep some companies from having to lay people off after a game’s complete.
I’m not arguing against that. My point is just that, for the most part, the actual mechanics of the game / gameplay are really fucking good.
