If we didn’t have an emotional response to the n-word, there would be no point in thinking critically about it, because this stigma about the word wouldn’t exist at all.

No. Evoking an emotional response is exactly what you want to do. You have to still be able to think critically and handle your emotions at the same time. Life won’t give you the luxury of separating those two.

Murky can be an absolute terror. I love playing him and honestly I have won more games on any character with him. Because he is insanely fun to play. But in ranked he can quickly get destroyed.

That can be annoying but I haven’t experienced it to the point that it interfered. Mostly, for me, it’s just people making bad plays. Literally, dying to overextending/not knowing when to retreat must account for 50% of deaths. I’m more worried about that than the fact that I don’t speak Korean, Spanish, etc...

Except that you can still listen while being muted and execute a plan of action, or do what someone asks you to. You can also very quickly type “ok” or something like that into chat. There have been times where I’ve had a sore throat and been off mic with my friends but still listen to what they say and still win

Right. Which is basically what I said : “An asshole will find a reason to be an asshole.” People will troll pick murky, nova, heroes that make no sense or are terrible... or just straight up AFK without saying anything...

HOTS is great, I think. Yes, there are douchebags. Just report them. The game has much improved since a year ago. Come back!

I’ve been playing HOTS since the beta.

I keep seeing this argument come up and I don’t know why it’s even a talking point. If you actually look at views, subs, etc. in an active, updated list, a VERY small percent of them are female. And of those that you might consider “titty streamers,” very very few of them actually exist or make decent money.

I mean do you actually have friends in the industry? Or are you just basing that on what you read? I have many friends, male and female, who are actors / producers / editors. Some of them have been hit on awkwardly, yeah. But so far none of them have been sexually harassed or abused.

A lot of famous actors went into acting against their parents wishes. I understand your point, but if your kid wants to really, truly be an actor, they’ll do it with or without your consent.

Sorry but this is dumb. This is the definition of a pandering cash grab. It’s the same thing as Oceans 8 or whatever the new one is called. WHY couldn’t it just be something new? I’m so down for large female cast movies / shows but Jesus Christ, people...

Not really. You can’t hope to change these systems without people in power that will actively deal with these issues and agree with said stance. That’s how it works for any corp, social circle, etcetera.

The one where I used to grow up in Plantation is still there. I went in a while ago but it was weird. It was suuuper slimmed down.

Yeah that’s my big thing with this show... like past the Frieza saga, they can blow up a planet within seconds. Even Yamcha could do it. Anything beyond that is just god like but yet you still have 300 episodes to go til the literal “god mode.”

“Acting, to me, is boring.”

Question : is it actually good though? I love Dragon ball but most of what I’ve seen of super is just beyond goofy... some of the fights look cool... animation is weak sometimes... just on the fence.

I haven’t played Destiny II, but I’s biggest flaw was a senseless story, empty worlds, etc... those aren’t hardcore player issues.

I miss the fact that Blizzard took Light Radius away from the Diablo franchise. It gave the game an added difficulty and I think added to D3 being too easy.
