Why would you not care as much if it was a white male? We have it built into our brains that you can’t hit women ever, but hitting another man is somehow not as bad. And you’re right, honestly it seems to me like this situation was probably brought on by both of them being dumb.

As someone who was bullied and called names in school, it only stopped when I decided to kick my bully on the ground and punch his mouth until his braces and teeth were covered in blood.

But it is not harming or losing the meaning of the art, so how is that “not a good look?” It simply exist as it is and is not being used in a derogatory connotation, nor is there anything said about the skin that betrays the meaning of the native art it was derived from. The skin is neither bad nor good.

If people weren’t jumping down their throat they wouldn’t feel the need to do this retcon in the first place... sooo....

I mean, or, we could not get pissed? I belong to a culture that literally never gets represented. So boohoo that Blizzard made a dope skin of something belonging to a different culture from Pharah.

Right. I do agree that it’s always better, being as its the whole focus of the game’s theme.

I do feel like Overwatch is a step forward in the right direction, but you have to admit it’s on a very surface level type of thing. Other than the fact, for instance, that Pharah and her mom are Egyptian, does it really matter from any kind of story perspective? How does their being Egyptian actually change the way

True, true. Have you thought about trying to make a switch to Twitch? You could probably get a decent amount of subs to follow you there.

I’ve seen you in the comments alot the last couple years and if it goes belly up I’m sure you’ll be fine. You seem like a smart dude.

Um no... you don’t need any of this information to understand Overwatch. Overwatch is a purely multiplayer experience thus far. Destiny, however, has an overarching experience. Pulling out vital info damages the game.

But in terms of gems actually winning elections, black people overwhelmingly voted democratically. Hillary lost because she didn’t speak to people in literal middle America. And those people are white as hell. She didn’t show her face enough, and Trump did, and they bought the snake oil salesman act.

Also, considering the fact that Sanders literally gave BLM THE STAGE, as in again, literally, GAVE THEM THE STAGE, and Hillary... well... Hillary just told people to be quiet, basically.

You’re missing the entire point. The point of him redoing these characters was because people grief him for drawing predominantly black characters. So his response was to flip the script on something insanely popular amongst gamers. I get your point, but it doesn’t really apply here.

I mean you named him Seamus... I dunno, like... revenge has clearly been in the works since your wife birthed him.

I know right!? There are actually abdominal muscles that go over it so I dunno why they don’t just draw that instead of a lumpy mass.

Mmm... except that they do build skills. For one, editing and creating graphics for their own videos, and I’m sure some of them dabble in some basic sound design. Two, stage presence; talking to their audience. Three (if they are really savvy) making money of of peripheral things; prints, shirts, what have you.

An actor’s performance comes from both herself and the skill of the director. I seriously doubt Rupert Sanders understands Kusanagi at all. Therefore, she can only give half a performance.

Even if they caught it, doesn’t mean they have time to change it.

I think it’s moreso the case of... why in this game? A few years down the road from DA:I, which animation wise was improved from the previous titles, and so on... it’s just really weird.
