Don't ever sit down in your boot on a dyno, get the operator to strap that shit properly
Don't ever sit down in your boot on a dyno, get the operator to strap that shit properly

HEY! That is some insightful criticism.
"it's about the inefficiency" GTFAC
Everybody is laughing at you.
Except if you want that performance to translate onto the street, as many journo's has pointed out, the importance of 'Ring time has ruined road going cars.

Then why can this ute (almost NO weight in the back at all) run 1500hp? Because it was strapped down properly.
For lazy unskilled operators.
Are there really that many dodgy dyno operators around? This 1500hp Ute was strapped down properly and didn't need any additional weight in the back (and its a ute so there is already like no weight back there)
You are the first person to finally say this! Yes, if you are strapped down correctly, even a 1500hp Ute won't have any trouble.
They mustn't have been strapping properly.
1500hp Ute says your wrong. Strap your cars down properly fools, then you wont need the weight. If your dyno operator asks you to jump in the back, get the fuck out of there quickly.
Well this 1500hp ute doesn't need it.... BECAUSE IT IS STRAPPED DOWN CORRECTLY!!!
Really? Because this ute is strapped down properly and it doesn't need any extra weight in the back. Running street tyres...and 1500hp
NO! It is not "common practice" to have people weighing down the trunk, this is both lazy and unsafe.
I know what to tell you, those operators are both lazy and dangerous and I would never take my car to place where they asked you to sit in the trunk. We have some pretty serious dyno competitions here with street cars reaching 2000hp and not one of them needs extra weight in the back, because they are strapped down…
It shouldn't be common though, it just means the dyno operator was to lazy to strap down the car properly.
Really? So having money means you have a small penis? Probably explains why I'm so poor
