did you see the "almost crash" with the last Audi and...wait for it....another 458!!

because of the woven nature of the fibres in carbonfibre/fibreglass/carbonkevlar like materials, upon impact, the energy is spread throughout the material in many directions, causing it to "explode". By dissipating the energy this way it makes for spectacular but ultimately safer crashes.

But that is just like saying you are not a real driver unless you can flawlessly shift a dogbox, Shifting a transmission has nothing to do with driving, hell I used to change gears manually on a Drill press!!!

SYnchromesh? I mean if we are going to rip on things for making it easier lets go way back to when it first began.

Yeah but the people creating easier ways for people to do things are...well...doing things, rather than saying, "well I would rather people...."

Synchromesh?

Yeah, stupid f1 drivers, thinking they have control over when their transmission shifts....

the 458 does what the 458 needs....

Yes, the road version were spawned from the prototype, but when that first prototype was built and raced, was it not a prototype racer?

did any other Aussie notice the E-Series falcon @ 2.20 with a massive wing?... FKN HILARIOUS!!!

for all those interested. Listen to Fear Factory - Final Exit....

hehe typical American misinterpretation of "sports car".

or the XUV version

there we are....

For all the same reasons people have listed for MG, Triumph, and Alfa sports cars, but with the additional benefit of actually working.

or even better, the HSV Avalanche . Basically a Holden Wagon with raised suspension, 4WD and an LS V8!

I would imagine that the benefit to handling of having an LS engine over a BBC would be huge.

It is called a hack saw.

hm...

Funny this popped up, I saw a 928 today and couldn't help but think how awesome it would be to find a cheap one with a busted engine and see if an LS will cram into it. Anyone heard of something like that being done before?
