The main reasoning, in my opinion, is to drive innovation. Which has always been the aim of elite motorsport.

Thats not a burnout. THIS is a burnout!

yummy...mini LF-A

I have seen one other motorcycle with a single speed direct drive (though I am sure there are others): The Babarian V8 Motorcycle powered by a 350ci Chev.

At first I thought that the article read " IS Update" and thought...what? they just changed the grille?

for a look to see what a proper hybrid would be like, look at the first gen Honda Insight, not as clever as the Prius in its hybrid operation but delivered an economy figure that is remarkable even today.

The engine itself is called the "Speed Six". It is found in the Tuscan, Tamora, Sagaris, Cerbera and T350. (I am pretty sure that is every car in the current TVR lineup.)

well not fully collapsed at least lol

Even with those drilled rotors I can see those brake overheating. The whole brake assembly is basically enclosed in a box with only one side open.
