10k were made between 1987 and '89. And I wonder how hard they'd be to find today in Japan.

While the Pao's open hinges are a little too over the top, the Be-1 looks great. According to Wikipedia it also has an independent rear suspension and four wheel disc brakes. Plus the newest ones are just over 25 years old. And who doesn't love painted steel wheels?
I am also way, way into the Be-1. Might be my pick as well.
Can I just say that, although I'm in the minority, the total early '70s-ness of the Nissan Be-1 is just fantastic. I want one so bad. More than a Figaro, Pao, or S-Cargo, by far. What a sweet little piece of design!
I made a photoshop...
Actually makes perfect sense. In order for Maser to survive, they need to sell many more cars than they have in the past few years. They were not going to do that with the GT and QP no matter hoiw many super bowl ads they buy.
Call me crazy, but I think there are some rich people watching the Super Bowl too... And isn't the Ghibli supposed to be the "affordable" Maserati four-door anyway?
I am in perfect agreement.
Balance to another extinct Australian products thread.
Hello... is it me you're looking for?
You need to lay off the meth.
To insinuate that a 7.3 0-60 is "dangerous" is absolutely ridiculous. In fact, 7.3 is pretty damn quick for a car in this class. The Fiat 500 is 10.8, Fiesta 9.7, Mazda 2 9.4, etc. And by the way, all of these cars are extremely fun to drive.
You say 70's and People Mover and I instantly think of Logan's Run...
No offense, but the S-Class of minivans, the R500 isn't built anymore:
Gone is the Mercedes-Benz Viano, in is the brand new Mercedes-Benz V-Class. It's a seven-seat minivan that can also be a business shuttle since it gets most of its gadgets straight from the S-Class. And it might even make it to the US...
Any innovations in transportation will require public investment. And unfortunately we are Americans, the greatest people on earth we will never allow our tax dollars to be wasted on something that the private sector can do better. So let the Communist Europeans, "Asians", and everyone else build these so called…
It's this lack of attention to detail that makes this a crack pipe. Why didn't they shave the liftgate handle and fill the seams? It isn't, or shouldn't be, a functional door.
And I'm seeing a lot of crack...
Escalade Convertible. You didn't... Oh yes... you DIDDY !
Ultimately, it's another car (too) ahead of its time...
