As the airline industry has shown, there are very few accidents that are truly unavoidable. And the vast majority are user error.

Pretty much. The car should have detected the children before they ran into the road. See something in the road that you can’t see around, slow the car a bit. It’s not like the car has ADD, unlike the driver (possibly to probably).

Yup, camera car is so courteous that they:

Would it count if they make it in white and take it to LA for a police chase as the police car?

No worries, with seat positions, it’s all relative. 5'7" with 30" inseam. It’s a manual, so the seat is properly positioned. There’s still significant room between the front seat and child seat. Something like 4-6 inches? I’d have to double check to be sure, but I think there’s at least as much space as shown in

The GTI/R is a lot better in this regard. I’ve got one of those monster convertible (rear! mounted) seats mounted behind the driver’s seat and it’s got plenty of space.

Well, a Porsche 911 will do just fine then...

“a strong-and-flexible material developed by a company called Spiber Inc which appears to be trying to use protein in manufacturing.”

Given that they are right at the start/finish line, which is right in front of the pits, maybe send a runner after seeing the tow truck driver scratching his head for 5 minutes?

Couldn’t the guy in the pits who’s actual job is to remove the nosecone just have walked over and removed the nosecone?

The problem is, as I’ve posted elsewhere is that there are not too terribly many of them either, which translates to a really bad rate at which they do catch fire.

Sorry, going to be ‘that guy’ and look at the numbers. The issue comes down to that there are so few FF’s ever produced. Naturally because there are so few FF’s, they don’t catch fire that often. But let’s look at the rate at which they do, rather then the absolute numbers. So very ballpark, going from this post (http:

Gotcha. With some of the newer designs, convertible seats now are very nearly as wide as the front seats. Some narrower designs still exist, but they are increasingly hard to find.

How did you get three in the back? I don’t think I could get three across in the back even if they’re not actually secured. Well, maybe with the right model that doesn’t come with two cupholders, expandable foot rests, collision bars, deployable safety balloon...

This. Unless optionally equipped (like after-market), both the R and RS have summer tires and you’re kidding yourself if you think summer tires can handle any snow at all.

GTI/Golf R fits a rear facing convertible seat easily. I have a full-sized (expandable legroom (!) version) Greco convertible set for rear-facing behind the drivers seat. Driver’s seat set for proper angle and distance. No sacrifice in comfort for the driver’s seat (well, except if I want to take a nap).

Golf GTI/R. Tried to family it with a FiST. That did not work. The Golf R fits a rear facing convertible seat (the FiST would take certain rear facing infant carriers, but not the full seat) with room to spare for the front seat (assuming proper seating position and average height).

Not sure, but by your own assessment, the LX is overpriced by $25,000. Not $2,000, but twenty-five THOUSAND too much. For the price of an extra v6 Mustang, this thing had better at least operate well. For example, Apple products are pricey, but they justify their price by working well for their core mission. Here the

So that’s what Ms. Choksondik from South Park has been up to!

Yup, just another loser with internet access. So wrapped up in himself and his belief that the world has wrong him. (Yeah, I’m assuming Meeker is a he, but hey, he doesn’t like assumptions, so he’s an it). It doesn’t realize that the world doesn’t give two shits about it and you have to adapt to the world rather than
