As someone with Type-II Diabeetus I’m tempted every time I see an Ozempic commercial to push my doctor to get me some. Improved diabetes and weight loss? Awesome! But the fact that it makes food unappetizing is a no-go. I fucking love eating! Sure, that’s kind of slowly killing me, but I love food!

So I watched the “Euphoria” pilot and never watched it again. If the pilot was self-employed, I can understand Bryant suing the helicopter company’s “primary representative” for “negligence” resulting in her husband and daughter’s deaths. But that litigation should have been compartmentalized from the “paparazzi attitude” of the first responders.

This whole situation has always felt grimy to me. This should not have been a “here you go, take the broke ass taxpayer’s money because of something the city did” situation.

I feel for her loss and the position she is in, but I was admittedly a bit done with it when she sued the pilots family..... like they weren’t…

Some people (like Elizabeth Holmes) are also inherently cruel and harmful. Keeping people like that away from their kids is good. We do it to poor people when it’s not necessary, and we don’t do it to rich people when it is.
