I see, I just wanted to make sure I was understanding what you were saying correctly. In that case, this is pretty darn ridiculous costuming all around.

I tried so hard to see them that it turned into one of those hidden 3D images. It was just an image of a lame tricycle though, no nipples :(

Are you saying the Sand Snakes actually wore nipple armor in the books, or that they just like to joke about it? If they actually wore it, that would change the debate a bit.
Wikipedia seems to point to these types of armor being ornamental, rather than your every day battle armor.
"The main purpose of the highly figured cuirass was to impress, and it was likely reserved for military reviews and parades."

And the boob plate armor debate, while not…
Those are functional. You can hang your water bottles from them.
Is there a guy named Gary Mond in this movie too?
1. Final Fantasy VII
3. Resident Evil
Raptor racing!
I agree that they're either the same or worse. But I still want to go see it 7 times in the theater like I did with the original when I was 12.
I love this article and I love this thread SO MUCH. I still have memories of coming back to my computer after an hour or so (56k dialup modem download) to watch a postage stamp sized development trailer for OoT (didn't know that would be the name at the time) where Link was fighting a shiny, armored knight. I…
I agree, the great fairies weirded me out. But in the same way they weird me out, I like them. It makes them seem a little more otherworldly and alien. It's as if their way of life says that they do what makes them happy, no matter what the rest of the world thinks. It seems more playful, whereas angel wings would…
Wow I didn't notice that! Why was that in there? I mean that is an Arwing from Starfox, right? (Yes, I still remembered the name of that ship).
'Homeboy needs to work on that."
I know you've got to be an 80's kid, right? This made me laugh way more than it should have.
Ah I can get that.
Personally I have to let a lot go to enjoy Sailor Moon, but I don't forget it's there. It's not as bad as some anime and their tropes though.
From the moment I started watching the Crystal series I was waiting for #ThatMomentWhenYouFinallyKissHerWhileShesConscious
They're both a bit older, and in theory, have a bit more life experience under their belt and are able to to make more responsible decisions (one party less likely to be able to take advantage of the naivete of the other, for example). When you draw a line for age, it's admittedly going to be pretty arbitrary though.
I'…
Ah I get it. And I agree with your idea that they probably won't let the guy get swallowed whole, no mater what. All hype: the actual show will be much less dramatic. Much like the idea that you'd make a game show where a group of people have to survive on an island. We're not going to see people starve to death on a…
I agree, for the most part, but then hopefully they would not feed it the whole helmet. Snakes digest their food down to the bone. They're probably not able to digest the metal and plastic bits that helmet is made of. I'd even say just giving it a smaller Gopro camera would still be a bad day on the crapper for that…
