Nah, the Kia & Hyundai look stellar.

I like the Ionoq 5.
There are probably thousands of better options than what he picked though. City design aside, there are much more practical ways of dealing with this. Alot of this seems like “wants” vs “needs”. a 20k BMW? Sounds like a bad idea already. A dodge charger? also sounds like a bad idea period.
We need a downvote option.
“They’re aggressive to the point that police say they refuse people who turn them down for help.”
If I had $15k to literally burn, I’d buy this and burn it. What an abomination.
Here’s an idea. Instead of blaming publishers for this practice, which is clearly making them money, perhaps blame the rubes that actually pay for this scummy practice.
Someone (wish I could remember who) wrote about an idea for making police carry malpractice insurance like doctors that would pay out if they are sued for on the job misconduct. If the officer has a bad record and the premiums become too high, time to find a new job.
Tesla is the Kardashian family of the automotive industry. The more people hate on them and talk shit, the more money both parties make. It’s a symbiotic relationship lol.
Speed records and racing have driven motorsports for over 120 years and ALL of it, all the technology, experiences, failures, triumphs, mistakes, victories, cheating, ALL of it progresses motorsports and real world daily driving. Are cars today are the children of technology born from trying to break records.

Less driveway to maintain is actually a huge benefit to these houses. My parents have a 2.5 car garage with a loft so it’s pretty big. It’s about 150' from the street to the garage so that’s a lot of driveway to shovel in the winter. I have a snout house that is probably 25 to 30' from street to driveway so shoveling…
I think the view part is the right answer. No one really needs a view from their garage, but having the kitchen privately in the back with a view of the backyard is more ideal. Gives you the option of a door/door wall that can go out to the backyard for a patio, etc.
I get why they are popular from a compact layout perspective. They lead directly into the kitchen a lot of the time so unloading groceries is easier. This layout also puts the kitchen windows on back and side of the house so you are not looking into the street and have more privacy. Also less driveway to maintain and…
I would like to see a FIA WRC car, but unrestricted and on steroids (3 active diffs, no restrictor on the turbo, just to name two things) and get one of the Sebastiens (Ogier and Loeb would both be up to the task) to have a go on the all-terrain ’Ring
I occasionally have to restrain myself from throwing caution (and my retirement savings) to the wind and grabbing a Toyota GR86. Now that my kid is old enough to ride in the front seat, rear seats are optional. Unfortunately, the kid plays cello, so something like a Miata is out of the question, but the tiny rear…
Well if you said “Vehicle” instead of car I would suggest a Harley Davidson.
