I have to admit, I’m digging the smooth understated lines and relatively clean looking interior.

Formula E only really works on a street circuit. Being full electric the cars require lots of heavy breaking zones to regenerate power, a traditional circuit like Paul Ricard wouldn’t be able to offer this. There’s also the elephant in the room of “Formula E cars aren’t that fast”. In a tight winding street circuit it

Might as well bring back Ja Rule and Luda too!

Geez, let’s take a minute to talk about how well this car has aged. I know this is the 2nd gen, but it’s still basically the original R8 from 2006 aesthetically.

Ya, we’re only supposed to “say” we’d buy new cars!

The new era of Mclaren has been up and down for me. Loved the P1, loved the 720S. The Senna, I still can’t get over the looks, especially that wing, but the GTR spec pulls it all together.

Guy 1: Are you crazy, why on earth would you do that to an E30 M3?

I thought the same thing, I’m all for added drama with a tight corner, but this seems excessive. The only thing I can think of is with all the battery management they want to get the speeds down more so drivers can use more energy recovery. Thank you for asking the hard questions Jason. This is auto journalism at it’s finest. Despite this sounding like satire I truly appreciate your obsession over all things unimportant.

A Double Brat cures all ailments at Road America.

This is exactly why I’m not buying a Mclaren. Ignore the lack of money thing, this is what really bothers me.

nevermind, I done’d it myself. No one will ever know it’s really a type R.

Please!!! I must see someone put a DX badge on their new overstyled Type R.

Right there with you, it’s a much more dramatic shot in my opinion. Although with a pro shoot I’m sure the client wants to see all the curves and angles he can if he’s paying for it.

Who needs them, all they do is slow you down...

Nice, I did the same for my wife last year and she loved it. She enjoys gaming, just not anything really heavy, this is the perfect compromise. Casual and stress free but still really strategic and interesting every play. Our 8yr daughter became a fan too so when the rest of the family is gamed out I still have
