The real problem here is, once someone like Hannity (or Trump) has said it, no matter how often they or anyone else goes back on it, the lie will be repeated ad infinitum. Just ask someone on the right about this now: they’ll tell you Trump never tried to fire him and the NY Times lied. Or ask someone on the right

One of the things I love most about the show as it is, right now, is how it’s stuck so firmly with its characters that, even when they do something surprising, it DOESN’T surprise, either? Does that make sense? I mean this in terms of Eleanor’s sacrifice at the end. When she makes up a story so that her friends won’t

3 bananas constitute a bunch.

It’s interesting that a studio that will gleefully release crap like Zoolander 2 or Monster Trucks thinks that a new Cloverfield movie is really bad. Or that a studio that desperately tried to sell blantantly uncommerical movies like Mother!, Downsizing or Suburicon thinks there’s nothing to salavage here.

Totally agree; C+ seems harsh. Like you, I thought this was an easy B-grade episode.

I’m sorry but this episode was pretty damn good in my opinion. It at least deserved somewhere in the B range. I’d personally give it an A-. I can see why this was supposed to be the fall finale.

How to get away with not bringing back community grades: pretend like it’s not a popular feature. Shame on you; for shame!

Yeah, even though Community got a little shaky as it went (and the less said about season 4, the better) there are few shows that hit my funny spot with that level of accuracy.

What’s surprising is it’s eleven replies to “decade’s best sitcom” in response to a Good Place episode.

Damn, I forgot Happy Endings in my initial list. I’d probably go

I made an account just to say how glad I am that someone else mentioned Happy Endings.

Eleven replies to”decade’s best sitcom”, and no mention of Community? This place has changed. Naturally, I blame Kinja, but I now wonder if the Harmon revelations have cost the show its place in the pantheon.

Happy Endings

I agree about the Good Place being exceptional, but I’d have to go with BoJack Horseman for the decade. And someone already call out Better Off Ted, which needs to be revived. But those three are pretty much the pinnacle with a big drop between 3 and 4.

I don’t know. I think in true Medium Place fashion, the cocaine is great but the wind chimes are pretty disappointing.

I felt weirdly overjoyed for Mindy. She’s been consistently honest and helpful this whole time even though it doesn’t matter to her. Cocaine and warm Stella for everyone.

I’m so happy for Mindy St. Clair!

The detail of Chidi correcting “Oral” to “Moral” just kills me.

Because this show is SO damn amazing, I also assume other little throwaways have additional level references. The two that came to mind were:
