I think you can be friends with people like that ... if you don’t know it. and I’d be willing to bet that there ARE people in your circle of extended acquaintances who hold views you would find abhorrent.

THIS is the actual solution. If you have a sincerely held belief that the rando who might end up sitting next to you is an axe-carrying mass murderer, it is on you to buy the seat and prevent that from happening.

African or European?

Most team sports for kids around here operate on the same principal. Everyone is required to volunteer your time in some capacity. Every year the discussion is “will we fundraise?” Every year, everyone just writes a cheque and moves on.

blah blah blah “...on their knees with MY head in their hands” ... or some sort of terrible sex joke in there.

It was just uniformly bad. Even the trailers (generally accepted to be excerpts of the highlights of the show) were awful. Enough so that they convinced me NOT to watch the show - I drove by that night and caught a few minutes to confirm my opinion.

So, I’m sure there are zillions of other comments saying pretty much the same thing, but “... a uterus doesn’t qualify you to be the President of the United States any more than having a penis does” is not an outlandish statement.

Perhaps modeled after the infamous Dallas Stars “Moo-terus” jerseys?
