Shelter Cat Update!

I once had a dental procedure that needed two successive days to complete. Day 1, I come in and Groundhog Day is playing on the TV. Day 2, I return to the dental office and Groundhog Day is on again at the exact same scene. I bust out laughing, and they look at me like I’m crazy(story of my life, really)

I second all of these recommendations.

And looking up Groundhog Day reminded me of Scrooged, definitely adding that to my I-need-help-getting-through-the-holidays list.

You know, I haven’t seen Hot Fuzz.  I’m sure I need to. I loved Shaun of the Dead. And I’m always up for Galaxy Quest and Groundhog Day rewatches, thanks for reminding me. These are exactly the type of movies I was trying to think of :). 

I had to say goodbye to one of my precious pups on Monday. She was sweet, funny, bold, and lovable. Everything a dog should be. I have a corgi shaped hole in my heart.

Some random things:

I love your updates. This is my cat Ollie, I met him when I was homeless living in a hostel. He was a stray they had taken in. He followed me everywhere from when we first met. I was so lucky they gave him to me when I was given social housing. He's 14 and I love him to bits. 

I have been alone for way too long, years and years and I just want to try to go on a date or at least get laid, but I can’t get through answering same questions to man and being judged. I can also read through their BS on dating apps. They are predictable and its boring.
