For the longest time, I thought Michael Schoeffling and Matt Dillon were the same person.

Why does it take a MAN to legitimize women’s experiences? A few years ago, this Egyptian man by the name of Waleed Hammad dressed up as a woman and walked the streets of Cairo to investigate street harassment. His stunt got a lot of attention in Egypt and around the world. I (sort of) applaud what he was trying to do,

I think the technical term is “familicide.”

While I’m sad to see Nicole Beharie go, I think she deserves a LOT better than the train wreck Sleepy Hollow has become. Seriously, when a horse is this lame they shoot it.

I’m starring you for the Simpson’s reference!

Here’s another stat: in 2013, 400 Canadian males were accused of homicide versus 52 Canadian women.

Women simply commit less crime. If you look at the stats for all the major crime categories — murder, assault, theft, etc; nine times out of ten, men are the ones doing the deed. I believe in America, about 95% of federal inmates are men (last time I checked).

Ugh! Why does Jezebel have SOOOOOOO many stories on this stupid vapid clan? The only headline I want to see on this site is, “Entire Kardashian family dies in fiery inferno as their private jet crashes into ocean.” Enough already!

I thought “Eskimo” was a derogatory term? Here in Canada, there’s a movement to get the sports team, the Edmonton Eskimos to change their name.

Were you going for “facetious”?

I found the movie rather predictable and frankly it isn’t one of the Coen Brother’s best movie BUT, Oscar’s singing makes up for it (and it’s the best part of the movie, and I plan on buying the soundtrack). Then again I have a weakness for guys who can sing and play the guitar!

Gordon Korman was my idol as a kid. Glad to see I’m not the only fan.

I was like you until I saw Inside Llewyn Davis. Watch the scene where he sings “Queen Jane.” Also watch his interviews on YouTube to get a sense of his personality. He seems like a genuinely nice guy — and I don’t mean “nice guy” in the awful MRA sense.

There’s a book blogger named Bill Wolfe and he runs a site called Read Her like an Open Book. He ONLY reads fiction written by women. I haven’t taken an in-depth look at the site but I found the idea of such a site rather refreshing.

Why is it so weird not to want brownish armpits? My skin is relatively light and my underarms are noticeably darker — which is not a good look. I WISH there was a product in North America that lightened underarms, I’d snap it up in an instant. Maybe you’re white and you don’t know what it’s like to have the annoying

I definitely think women of colour face DIFFERENT skin problems than white women and I wish there were MORE skin whitening products on the market. I’m Asian and if I get something as minor as a mosquito bite, the dark mark that is left on my skin takes over a YEAR to fade. I have brown hyperpigmentation marks on my

But WHY did Jian keep all those emails and notes from ten years ago? I don’t know about you but I certainly don’t keep such things and I imagine most people don’t. If Jian truly believed that what he was doing was perfectly fine, why did he feel the need to keep all that stuff “just in case” he would have to defend

Dammit, I accidentally starred myself!

Yes, I am Canadian and I highly doubt that the average Canadian could pick Jian out of a crowd ten years ago. Like you said, Jian was the SUMMER HOST of a radio show — still not a big star or a household name and hence hardly powerful or influential.

Can you specify what was so “dumb” about my comment?
