Yes I am!

That novel threw me out of a loop, because it expanded upon Roland's past… Just not the parts that I was interested in finding out about.

Jake was the weakest of the main protagonists' of the novels in my opinion, basically a combination of a Gary Stu and a morality pet.

At least the "IT" movie looks decent (jumpscares aside). The "IT" book would be my favourite genre novel if it did not include *that* moment and had a little less of mystical mumbo-jumbo by the end and it seems that the movie will be the closest we will ever get to that version of the story.

Frankly, the B- is concerning because Ignatiy LOVES this type of movies…

Celebrity deaths rarely make me sad, but this one did - the guy was still young and had six kids who are probably at teenage age at most. My feelings in such cases rarely have anything to do with to do with my opinion of the given artist's output.

"I loathe this show's very existence… B+"

Laugh at Godfrey Ho, but the guy found a pretty original way of making movies. I kinda wish some avant-garde director rolled with it…

I've thought he worked perfectly well as a creep in "Get Out" (the character was a loser trying to be edgy after all, and he was supposed to be off-putting).

This is supposed to be an 18-hour Lynch movie and it IS… The thing is, for many people, even two hours of pure Lynchian madness can be a bit of a slog, with a lot of scenes that are hard for me to connect not only the rational plot level, but also the emotional one. Protracted scenes in which people do not really act

Dacascos is such a good looking guy, even as a straight guy I have to find him impressive.

There was also a really weird-ass gay porn called Drive, about a transgender supervillainess (or was it just a cross-dressing guy? I don't remember) trying to make world free of sexual energy. I recommend the Cinema Snob review, it's a hoot!

Surely a person calling himself/herself TheDarkOverlord unironically would be a big enough douchebag to do this type of thing. Is that asshole 13 years old???

I think it's because his books are full of awesome and terrifying stuff, but his writing is very… Distanced? Wry? (I don't want to say "British") Some people dig it, but I can't get into it.

I don't enjoy Gaiman's novels somehow, but I love his comics. Maybe something about his prose ticks me off, I guess? It does not help that Sandman was so rich that American Gods seems to be a weaker redux of its ideas?

As far as protag/antag relationships go, I will always feel that Scorpius/Crichton from Farscape is an underrated one (as the whole show is, sadly).

"I get the feeling their match at Mania was cut for time, and it ruined whatever they had planned."

I'm not sure how the old-timers feel about this (I started watching around the time KO debuted on the main roster), but it seems to me that in the last few years, this whole Wrasslemania season has become more of a nuisance we're glad to have over with than something we get excited about, as it's all about Vince

Frankly, I've already been spoiled for THAT controversial part and knowing what's coming will probably make it easier to stomach.

I'm exactly at this point, and so far it has been a contender for the best popcorn book ever for me… I wonder if the ending will change my opinion.
