The girl's testimony was helpful to the Dassey boy, not Steven Avery. What little we saw of her seemed to indicate she had been pressured by the investigators similarly to the way Dassey had been pressured.

Documentaries have a point of view. This one made a good case that the Wisconsin justice system is not that different from Mississippi's in the 1960s.
