While I am not excusing the work that is done in Tomb of Annihilation, we need to not dismiss all of D&D for this.

I suspect the new storyline will be set in the Jungles of Chult, and decided to make a video on the lore and background story of the Chult:

In prep for running my players through this Dungeon, I made a video about the History of Thay. Give them some background on the crazy wizards who made the dungeon.
They quite enjoyed the extra fluff I provided before putting their characters through hell :)
