Now that we know that Jedi can create pretty solid convincing mental projections of themselves across lightyears, I have a question -

No, that happened.

Supposedly. Personally I could have done with one more season of Peter Capaldi and Pearl Mackie, but I guess just having the one makes it all the more special.

No, Pearl Mackie - Beyonce would regenerate into you if she could.

Maybe the end is telling us there will be some big time jump

I’m kind of enjoying that too. It’s been going on since a few days before they even saw the movie; they’re just determined to rip it apart. But even the worst criticisms anyone could possibly have of it don’t take away from the fact that it’s a totally enjoyable rollercoaster of a film. If they want to spoil their own

- Porgs were alright. I liked them, but they straight up stole Chewy’s screen time. That was shitty.

The kid sat behind me spent the whole time telling his dad his theories about which character was going to become Darth Plagueis.

Yeah, the scene with the little boy at the end, which was thematically related but otherwise unconnected, would have been a great note to end the trilogy on.

My problem with it was, with all of this technology - spaceships, light sabers, and the droids especially - they don’t have autopilot? But unnecessary noble sacrifice aside, cutting the ship in two with a hyperspace jump is probably the most badass (and best sci-fi) thing in any Star Wars movie so far.

Let’s just say there is at least one jaw dropping moment that won’t be as effective if you know about it going in. But it’s such a thrill-ride of a movie that it’s enjoyable regardless - I mean I’ve just seen it this evening and I’ll probably be watching it again in a few days and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it just as much

I don’t think Kylo is lying about Rey’s parents. There used to be thousands of Jedi and they were supposed to be celibate so it stands to reason that you don’t have to be a Skywalker or a Kenobi in order to be strong in the Force. There must be lots of other people naturally attuned to it out there - and it’s about

I agree with everything you just said but I don’t think they’re going to do half of it - it’s just not what Nintendo do. I’m getting a Switch for Christmas but I’d also like an ebook reader and I was looking at getting a cheap Amazon Fire tablet because they keep going on sale, then I thought ‘Can’t the Switch read

Yeah, it’s no red ring of death, that’s for sure!

I played Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD on the Wii U but would gladly get them again on the Switch. If they did Skyward Sword HD as well that would be great.

As someone who did own a Wii U the re-releases are great because I also get to play Mario Kart!

I own a Wii U and the re-releases/ports don’t bother me at all. The more opportunities for more people to buy the same games on more platforms the better, as far as I’m concerned. I bought it 3 years ago, so I wasn’t an early adopter and therefore am not that bitter about it, just a little disappointed that I didn’t

Don’t get me wrong, I love my PS4, but I think the mistakes that Sony have made this time around are -

‘Just gone 4 years’ old is not ‘almost 5 years old’, the previous generation of consoles lasted for 7-8 years, and the mid-generation hardware refresh (PS4 Pro and Xbox One X) might keep this generation going even longer.

That’s what I would do if I could, but even buying a first property seems out of reach to me.
