I think there was one that came out a couple of months ago that everyone hated.

I thought love was gravity? Man, even that wasn’t clear.

I was going to come up with more criticisms of Interstellar but then I just burst into tears and became useless because I’m a woman.

She had a nice pair of airbags -

Had to look up what Smashburger is because I’ve never heard of them before. It turns out we only have 2 in the UK, both really far from me, but the third is opening quite near pretty soon, so Five Guys might have some competition.

I knew it was going to be Five Guys. Order a small fries, that’s more than enough. Order a large fries, you could take them home and feed your entire street.

It’s got 4,600 Steam players online right now, plus however many who don’t have it on Steam, with 7,600 in the last 24 hours. That’s not really many for a multiplayer game but then it is pretty niche - it’s more than the likes of The Elder Scrolls Online and DayZ anyway! The problem is it’s a big ass galaxy, so it’s

What, like No Man’s Sky? Yeah, that worked out well, didn’t it?

It’s always been worth playing but if you don’t like the fact that you can’t get out of your spaceship it probably isn’t for you. Think of it as a simulator - the ship is hard to control so there’s a steep learning curve, but it’s satisfying once you get it. Again, if that’s not what you’re looking for, it’s not for

No, they wouldn’t recycle old footage because that would be basically saying ‘Hey, this console can’t do anything new. Look at it playing these games that came out years ago on a console you already do/could own.’ That wouldn’t sell it at all. The ‘gameplay’ footage in the Switch promo video has to look new and

But it limits the console’s power to that of a tablet. That will send third party developers away in droves when they’re trying to make games that they can release on as many platforms as possible.

No, it was just a video of some Splatoon characters. Doesn’t mean they actually have a new Splatoon game in development, it’s just what could be.

It’s just a bunch of pre-rendered concept videos. I doubt they have that many games far enough along in development to show footage of them in a console reveal video without also announcing the games.

And Revolution was better than Wii. I liked Dolphin but do think that GameCube was better, even if it wasn’t really a cube (unless you added the GameBoy Player, which was totally worth it!) so perhaps they should actually call a console Dolphin at some point.

*Next week.

I’m torn between train wreck and cool new idea. The hardware looks cool and versatile (which is obviously how the video intended to show it), but in practical terms just think about how many different bits there are to it - there’s a lot of stuff there that can develop faults and be difficult to replace (ever tried

Obviously the latter. They can make great games when they try. The more they focus on gimmicky hardware the less they deliver in terms of first party content. If they had announced a return to conventional console design - spec rivalling Xbone/PS4, standard controller - with a strong first party lineup of games - new

No they won’t. If they were going to do that, they could just do that and not bother developing and manufacturing their own second screen hardware. I’ve always thought the Wii U would have been better if it had had a more conventional controller with an Android/iOS app to make your phone or tablet a second screen for
