Heck the $120 stung at the time too!

nm saw your reply below...stupid kinja won't let me delete

We have a flea/tick/worm preventative for our dog...$120 for a 6 month supply. What kind do you use?

I totally agree, I let my son choose whatever he wants as well. He doesn't seem to notice the sections either, but I still hate that the toy companies feel the need to say FOR BOYS and FOR GIRLS. Also my son does notice a little bit the branding for girls, like those nerf things that are marketed towards girls...he

Yes but they also have Marvel and the Planes/Cars franchises which seem to be doing extremely well (and the Disney Store is 50/50 as far as "boys/girls" stuff goes).

I think the problem is they shouldn't be labelled as either, it's not like boys need to be told it's for them just like girls don't need to be excluded.

I was going to say "well I got a Princess Leia dress up doll at Disneyland a while back!" they have a series of these little plastic princesses with plastic pop-on clothes, it has all the Disney princesses in the line...but ever since I bought mine over a year ago I have never seen it again (at the parks, it's

Yayyy Samantha is back! She was my favorite back in the day, I was obsessed. I had all the books and the doll of course (even though I never really played with dolls), and always pined for her random accessories! I used to love going to American Girl events at the bookstore, and loved the magazine~

It's funny because that was my reaction too but then I realized they have the same age difference as my husband and I (like, pretty much exactly...I'm 28 and he's 35). Maybe it's because he plays a teacher and she was a student on Glee???

This is the best picture I have ever seen.

Yup, I've stayed in 2 chain hotels that were pretty nice...one "walking distance" (still a mile away and you have to go through DT Disney, too far with sore feet from park hopping for over 12 hours) and one in Garden Grove (basically down the street though, had to drive but not more than 5 min.). I paid $75 for the

Yeah but if you read reviews you can avoid the really bad ones. I generally pick places where people just complain about small things/furnishings, because we literally only get a hotel to sleep in. Like a few are like "it's a little shabby!" "there is no iron, dealbreaker!" then I stay at that place, but if it's

Nothing better than a mint julep on a sweaty day at Disneyland :)

(Other hotels less than 5 minutes away from the park for $75/night or less)

Also you can go on rides during parades/fireworks/shows and like 20 min. before closing haha

Oh, and I generally hate kids other than my own and never found them that annoying. If anything it's the parents being annoying...

Also there is lots of live music (at least in CA) in the evenings, which is a lot of fun and one of my favorite things about the park. Also I agree if you want a more "adult" experience go to DCA because of the alcohol and the fine dining...but I say the OP should get a park hopper pass and go to both because

Exactly, I exclusively do my own nails as well unless there is something fancy I want that is beyond my capabilities...I am decent at painting my nails and for the price of a pro mani I can buy 2 bottles of good polish that I can use over an over again. That person must've broken a nail today or something yeesh.

I have even seen, on Tumblr, a request for trigger warnings for those that have trouble believing the world around them is real...

They really help for that? In that case I desperately need a pair...
