The falcon-wing doors of the Model 3 — aka a pointless and unnecessarily complex solution to a problem that’s already been solved. Love my Model S, but question the engineering effort poured into a non-critical design feature in a car that’s supposed to be cheap and easy to build, if only someone can say no to the

As someone who has sweaty hands, not being able to point vents directly at 9&3 sounds terrible.

It’s not the seat that’s broken, it’s the trim on the side of it. No amount of reengineering is appropriate because that part is not meant to have your body weight applied to it.

Not political. He’s the type of person who’d grab the V and leave the CLIT.

Bullshit. He bought the goods (the car) with its current design. It is up to the buyers to do their due diligence before purchasing an item, not the other way around.

Do you feel bad for people who buy timeshares, too? C’mon, man...

Factory no fat chicks stickers.

How sad is it that 300lb at 5'9" isn’t considered abnormal?

Joey is just being a jerk. I’ve been a fat guy, you break things as you exceed normal weight limits and flow out of the normal human profile. Chairs, hell I blew out the knobs of a Aztek seat controller because my fat butt pushed down on the side bolster trim and sheared them off. My fault for being fat, I accepted

Maybe you should go work there, then. Sounds like they need you.

It would even be shady to describe 274 pounds as “well within” the range 100-275, let alone a weight that is actually outside that range.

Are you daft? They fixed it twice already. What are they supposed to do, fix it 4,864 times because the guy is fat?

Well, when you’re really heavy you have to deal with these types of problems. If he were 8 feet tall and his head kept wearing out the headliner, would anyone expect Hyundai to keep replacing the headliner?

Unless they can prove that HE is breaking it (like putting his body weight on it) then yes, they need to keep fixing it until it stops breaking or the warranty expires.

My dad is 5'10ish and about 280 lbs or thereabouts. The same panel on his 2007 grand caravan has been broken for years. He never complained about it.

This doesn’t make sense to me:

At first I was on Joey’s side until he mentions his old Toyota ever had that problem. Sorry buddy it’s your own fault for thinking a Hyundai would hold up like a Toyota.

Zip ties and vice grips should not be included in CL photos, if you want to sell a car. It makes me wonder what else is held together by cable ties, clamps and hope. CP.

The engine was moved 18" forward and spun around 180 degrees. It is also tilted slightly upwards a few degrees. The car as we saw in the race this weekend was incredible in the rain. But... many insiders are furious that they were not given enough development money to holomgate a twin turbo development based upon the
