It’s partially because it was a modern day homologation special. It was designed to have racecar mechanics work on it, then they sell a few to the public so they can run it in Le Mans. Making it easy to work on was probably the lowest priority on their list.

Meh. That’s pretty common practice with small compressors. Rivets are cheap, faster to install, reliable, and for something that doesn’t require preventative maintenance they work fine.

Talk to the people. The majority of what your paying for when you get a wrap is for them to prep your car and put it back together. If you’re willing to de-trim it, detail it, etc, you can save a ton of money.

And again, it’s the steering part that Tesla insists you keep your hands on the wheel for. And again, Tesla, not me, is the one saying this... So....

If it could steer automatically, Tesla wouldn’t tell you to leave your hands on the wheel... For that matter, the guy that died was just following a road.

That’s not me saying that. Tesla themselves are the ones that say it cannot be used safely without human intervention.

That is very misleading, but one of the reasons they can get away with that is because their system (as I understand it anyways) chirps at you if you take your hands off the wheel at all, not just every few minutes like Tesla.
