As i said in multiple other comments now, if you do the prep work yourself, wraps are incredibly cheap.

Them lent mustang could have an engine out of a messerschmitt, even if it would be objectively better than a Merlin.

Tesla calls their lane keeping software Autosteer, despite the fact that it cannot automatically steer a car safely. Just saying...

Y’all didn’t have to take them...

But I mean, is it really that bad of an idea? If the alternative is, “Make cars that can’t speed or drift,” is it really all that bad that they be capable, but limited based on the GPS?

I definitely got estimates that were as much as 2000. If you’re willing to do the prep work yourself (de-trimming, detailing, etc), you can save a ton of money.

Uhh doesn’t the GT-R do exactly that? Enable a governor anytime it detects that you’re not on a track?

No it’s clearly shopped. The shadows are all wrong. Plus, a BRABUS ForTwo? The world we live in is crazy, but not that crazy.

They definitely get a lot more expensive than that. I got estimates recently and they ranged from $600-2000, all using the same type of vinyl. Most of the price difference comes down to how much prep work they do (de-trim, detail, etc). You can leave door handles and window seals and what-not on, but it doesn’t look

When inconsistent results means needing a new paint job, the product is not worth using. Maybe on wheels or small panels, but the stuff is not worth the money to use on a whole car, especially when you can have a decent vinyl wrapped professionally installed for only a few hundred more.

To be fair, it takes anywhere from 3-5 gallons to do a whole car worth at least 5 coats (the lighter the color, the more coats you have to do). At $75/gal, you’re paying at least $300.

Well said. And just to further drive the point home, France has had a tense relationship with North African migrants since long before IS was a thing. There’s this perception that one can only be a real Frenchmen if they consider themselves French above all else. Those that don’t are relegated to the shadows and have

I bought a car from a kid that plasti-dipped it (the whole thing). NEVER AGAIN. That shit just does not come off without extreme tedium or the use of chemicals that will destroy your paint. Big open panels? Sure! Just take your time because if you don’t you’ll scratch and nik the paint. Any tight space or textured

The fact that if I mess up slightly, I don’t need skin grafts, is totally worth 190k to me.

Derprango...

Yeah but then you’d have a fit...

Now you’ll never make the mistake of buying one. You’re welcome.

You write well considering.

Slightly under 50k =/= 30k.

Literally all i see when i look at that front end.
