I honestly prefer supermarket beefsteak tomatoes for one particular reason: heirloom tomatoes tend to be so juicy as to make the bread soggy before I get to finish the sandwich. Granted, a good spread (garlic aioli ftw) can mitigate this, but still...

Counterpoint: John Sterling should not stop doing what he is doing.

I realize it didn’t come off this way, but my original comment takes more offense at the fact that he was released at all than anything else. He’s a danger if he’s walking the streets and almost any minority would not be released at all for an offense like this, let alone without bail.

How the hell is a guy that assaulted a random stranger without provocation released back to the public without bail? Does that not constitute a danger to the public? (I know the answer, just posing the question).

But if you take away two percent of my wealth, how in hell am I going to afford my twelfth supercar ?

Same here. Planes don’t bother me at all, but I just can’t fall asleep on one. At most I get into that state where you feel yourself drifting off but never quite fall asleep. It’s usually the lower back pain or the leg cramps from sitting in economy that do it.

If a 15-hour ride-along with a woman implies he is cheating on his wife with a woman, does the same with a male reporter imply that he is cheating on his wife with a man?

Chuck Todd is what happens when you contort yourself to “both sides” the argument. When you follow your j-school’s imperative that a good op-ed should concede a point to the other side (it should!), but you concede just a few too many points every time. He is serving his purpose of being the moderate face of MSNBC.

Just curious -- does this also include the restaurants on the  Royal Caribbean cruise ships?

*Chicago Bears GM:* We want that man kicking footballs!

My first thoughts seeing these was “This looks like one of those jerseys they put in a movie when they need a fake football team.” Hard, hard pass.

Ah, on a multi-hour road trip and need to stop at a gas station for a snack and to take a leak? Better not leave the dog alone for 5 minutes. On your way home with the dog and need to run in somewhere and grab a coffee? Out of luck, dog’s in the car. I’m a dog lover and am as concerned about animal neglect as anyone,

Do you also keep your savings under the bed because you don’t trust the banks? This is a good use of technology that will keep dogs safer.

I say this as a Knicks fan.... the Knicks are the monster from Bird Box.

Taking bets on the number of times Agent Orange says “beautiful babies”.

Agreed. Single player is a masterpiece, but online is just so meh. The world’s too big; the content’s too sparse; the fast travel is too expensive (and it often takes 10 minutes just to get to a place where you can fast travel in the first place).

The price is high if unremarkable for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. It’s not uncommon to spend 100, 150, 200, and yes, up to 250 on a mechanical keyboard. Would I personally pay $250 for a wireless Razer? Not when I could get an Anne Pro for $80. But there’s a market for it.

I don’t get where Subaru’s aversion to power comes from. If they had an option other than the 3.6r Outback/Legacy that drove faster than a bicycle I’d buy all the Subarus.

What happened sucks, but Skybound is doing the right thing. They are looking to hire the original developers as contractors to finish this thing out. Telltale closed, that’s done, for good or for bad. This will at least allow some of the developers who do not have other jobs lined up to get some income in the meantime
