They also suffered for a long time because of the total and utter destruction wrought upon their country by the US. Their continuing isolation and descent into bizarre cultishness is also a result of US foreign policy. What is this “something” that needs to be done? When does forced regime change actually make things

America is hard at work, vying to bolster its reputation for depravity and scandalous behavior within the international community.

I’m banking on it not even making it that far. This has all the makings to me of a show that quietly disappears sometime between episodes 4 and 7 as it takes an “early hiatus” prior to the midseason break.

I think the bigger hurdle for acceptance of Latinx is that the use of “x” after a consonant is incompatible with existing Spanish phonology. In Latin American countries, I can see how this inserting of an Anglicized pronunciation into the language would carry an air of linguistic imperialism, however well-intentioned

Don’t you dare.

If it makes you feel any better I’m new here! (from other kinja sites). And I HATE The Big Bang Theory with the fiery passion of a million burning suns.

I know, right?

I’m fine with the show but I’d think this video was stupid even if I was visiting Entertainment Weekly’s website

And even as far as feather-light clickbait goes, I might, just might, go “well maybe I might just quickly glance at this stupid list of...” before noticing that it’s a video, and going “fuck that.”

Yeah, I often describe my TV interests as internet-TV, or AVClub-TV, in that it feels unique in my daily life but everyone on the internet and this site seems to agree with me at least 85% of the time, and vice versa.

Bazinga!

Even from beyond the grave, they can see a good deal.

I get it now: The AV Club was sold to E! and all of the talent was fired in the deal. Or is there a better reason for posting this rejected Facebook pop up ad?

The A.V. Club used to be the best pop culture destination on the internet. This is an appalling excuse for content.

Why?
Everyone who hates the show, has hated since season 1.
And everyone who enjoys the show clearly have done so in spite of the critics.
I don’t even watch it anymore, but I’m not going to shit on someone’s preference as much as I’m asking someone to kill my hype for GOT.

Why am I commenting?

IMHO, Mike Judge is - and will continue to be - the king of the pop-culture hill. At least that’s what this illustrated timeline I’ve been reading told me.

I got pretty upset when I saw this news, but I got over it by reciting my mantra: “3 2 1...1 2 3...what the heck is bothering me?”

My favorite thing about Family Matters is that the show was initially supposed to be a sweet sort of slice-of-life sitcom about a realistic middle-class family in Chicago. Then, midway through the first season, they introduced an annoying one-off next-door-neighbor character called Steve Urkel. Fast-forward a couple
