I think McNutt's harping on casting spoilers is pretty misguided. Yes, for someone who watches ALL the TV it's easy to recognize character actors, but I'd imagine 95% of the people watching this show don't know who David Costabile or Molly Price are. Casting fresh-faced actors who have never before appeared on screen

Loved this book, and saw the movie at the Seattle Film Festival a few months back. It's a very faithful, well done adaptation, and Giamatti and the two leads are all pretty great. Only downside is that a lot of stuff from the end of the book had to be cut due to budgetary constraints, but that's to be expected.

I watched this on demand about a week ago, and I'm not sure how to feel about it. It's not really what I'd consider a horror film until the last 5 minutes or so, and those are rather tame and predictable. It's more a very stylish, quirky dark comedy.

This is the second time the AV Club has talked shit about the surprisingly good film version of The Ruins. It's not as great as the book, but it's much better than a movie about killer vines should be.

They very quickly showed Elena turning the disposal off before she stuck her hand in there.

Gotta say, much like on Secret Circle I found Phoebe Tonkin's what-the-hell accent to be incredibly distracting. I think she's trying to do an American accent and doing it very poorly, and that ends up being the only thing I can focus on when she's on screen.

I feel the exact same way. Both this episode and last week's were completely lackluster for me, and I think Phi Phi's foul stench has a lot to do with that. Bringing Kenya back certainly didn't help either. What a waste of time.

"The Hunger Games is only the 16th soundtrack ever to hit No. 1." This can't possibly be right, can it? Maybe the 16th soundtrack to debut at number 1?

I'm sorry, but how does this Trapped In The Closet news barely warrant a mention in this article, when it is by far THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED?
