I have read some posts from people on a SNL forum who seem to be obsessed with Yvonne Hudson. She was a extra during the classic era, then she become a featured player and then a while later she was an extra again and never did any acting after that.

Potsie from Happy Days would be a good example. After Richie and Ralph left the show, Potsie would just randomly show up in various points of a episode, act stupid and leave.
