Look, I don't want to get into an internet shouting match back and forth, it's pointless and I really don't care.

LOL, "broken record" You're the one who writes the same response every time.
LOL,"little understanding of basic human emotions." How old are you??

Re-watch it, it's a silly anti-drug t.v. depiction of smoking pot. She takes a couple hits on a joint and then it looks like she's on LSD or something.

I'm not a big fan of this episode, it's ok I guess. It's kind of like Freaks and Geeks meets "Refer Madness." Lindsay smokes a joint and becomes a complete lunatic. I find most of Lindsay's second half stories tedious. Then after repeatedly berating Nick about his Marijuana use, she follows the Dead for 3 weeks in a

The show was pretty terrible about anachronisms, there's usually about 3-4 per episode.

What the 1960's Bee Gees excelled at were singles in a sub genre of pop/rock called "baroque pop."

Yeah we would play street hockey in the late fall-early winter sometimes in the early spring. We would play on a dead end street with two garbage cans for goals. Later on when we could drive we would play in a school parking lot with makeshift goals.

Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" reminded me of "Horace Ford." Owen Wilson's character is nostalgic for the 1920's and overly romanticizes that period until he is brought back in time. Then he finds out that everybody in 1920 is nostalgic for the 1890's and wishes they could be living in that time period. Then he

He was a very underrated actor. He was nominated for two academy awards: Battleground (1949) and Give 'em Hell Harry (1975).

Yeah, I don't think they ever fully explain why it took 30 years for a rescue mission to come. I think it was initially set up as some kind of colony rather than a crash landing so that might explain a delay.

One thing I've noticed re-watching these TZ is how popular baseball was back then. I mean it's all over the place especially when kids are playing etc.

Bishop, good point, I think our pop-culture over-romanticizes the past. I think the worst example of this was when they made all those post WW2 1950's movies back in the 1980's. My God, how many teenage baby boomer themed 80's movies were set in the 1950's? And basically the "1950's" in these films take place from

I thought a B+ was too low for Horace Ford. I think it's one of the most underrated episodes in the series. I think the title really throws things off as well because it sounds like a funny comedic episode when it's actually quite dark and sad.

I've always ranked "Thursday" as one of the best episodes of the series and Captain Benteen as one of the most complex and tragic characters in the series. Also, James Whitmore's performance was the best acting performance in the series IMO.

Jean-Luc,

The deluxe issues dropped in price, I think they're about $15-18 for each which is pretty good for 35 tracks.

celebith, A lot of the full episodes are on Youtube.

Jaws 3 was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I think it's one of the rare times I actually fell asleep during a movie. I remember there was so much anticipation for it too. LOL, what a piece of crap.

Yeah, it was kind of the cool college kid counter culture type show back in the 80's. I remember that I would do my reading and studying and stop to watch Letterman. None of the dorms/apartments had cable back then, vcr's were too expensive so this was something you could look forward to watch on your portable 13" b&w

Another big pop-culture moment I remember from 1983 was that HBO broadcasted "Star Wars" for the first time on t.v. that summer. Remember this is before everybody owned VCR's so it was big deal among kids that you could watch it on t.v.
