It's McFarland's way of trying to pander and make himself seem all hip and modern when really he didn't care one bit about the jokes. I've noticed lots of reviewers doing that lately. "Oh i liked it except this joke which will offend people so I'll make sure to mention how in poor taste it is so that I cover myself if

QuicklyThoughtUpUserID, I think that the conflict can create magic though compared everyone being friends and complacent. Look at the original seasons, everyone from the stars to the writers were on coke and all kinds of other drugs and all having sex with each other. It must've been a crazy atmosphere, and lets them

Norm does represent the risk missing. He was let go because the NBC CEO didn't like him or something, couldn't understand why he was funny. I'm not sure who from the current cast could take the WU spot and be removed from sketches as a result though. I'd like Hader but Hader doing it means no Stefon and no Hader in

I'd complain that they had 2 weeks to come up with WU jokes, but then htey had two weeks to come up with that cold opening too and it was as bad. Meyers delivery is just exhausted.

TBH I thought that was a pretty short WU segment, sometimes they have 3 guests on. I don't hate him either, he's just way past his use by date. Nothing about him or his performance changes so its just many, many years of the same thing and he doesn't particularly have any flair for it. Maybe that is out of complacency

I think hes been on Update since 2006, at least 2008, as well, He's bringing absolutely nothing new to the Update and its obvious, because all the talented ones move on to film or televison shows.

I was largely indifferent to Meyers Weekend Update but I'm beyond tired of it now, he should have moved on a long time and either taken on a cohost or let someone replace him. His act is tired as hell. The same thing, the same little laughs, the same delivery. He wants to be on tv but he doesnt want to do sketches so

Sam has been given more chances than anyone, I have never disliked Sam more than here where he nearly gets Benny killed and certainly makes it impossible for him to stay with the person who is helping him retain his humanity. Martin was a dick and deserved what he got, and Sam has no reason to distrust Dean's opinion

That's really clever, you must write for 2 Broke Girls.

But getting her drunk doesn't make her have sex, she has sex whether drunk or sober, it just makes her find the man she is dating more attractive than usual because they are dating in the episode. She is dating him because she thinks he is hotter tahn he is, but the drinking doesn't put her on her back. Chloe
