Reviewer seems to miss the point that Roger playing it straight is the joke. The entire episode Im expecting his evil plan or some big twist or for him to try and have gay sex with Stan, but ultimately the twist is that he is being as genuine as he can be.

Im pretty sure Hader messing with Killam was scripted, neither of the other two broke nor did Killam, and if they had it could have derailed the sketch so it's not something that would be tolerated.

I can see Seth being part of the problem, most people would take the fact that after so many years he will still be a forgotten SNL WU host because he is so uninspired and just move on. But he clings around, where those with actual talent go into film or television.
