I disagree with Sonia's assertion that it has returned to the status quo.

I don't think she'd work with Zajac because she just doesn't like him. His wife would've come first before the divorce which means she's doing what she does but also getting used as a sex toy. With the mayor at least it doesn't seem they've ever had a sexual relationship, she just gets to do what she does best.
