"The show’s “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” approach
begs for repeat views—not only to catch the laughs that are covered by
other laughs on first watch, but for the ones from which the bad jokes
distract. The latter occurs far more than the former, thankfully."

Definite interest! You were going to hit a roadblock when it came to anything past Season 3 anyway, but you should at least be allowed to finish what has been put out on DVD so far.

Except they've already got a season of Justice League in the archives, so they should finish that first.

Only five, huh?

I like "The Quickening" more for Dax's crushing verbal uppercut on Bashir than for anything Bashir actually does.

Nono… this is about chimps, not librarians.

"Replaced" isn't quite what they did. "Palette-swapped" might be more accurate — it's the EXACT SAME RIDE, but with pastels and hunny pots instead of wildly careening cars barreling through twisty roads and narrowly avoiding collisions with buildings. All of the crazy near-crashes are still in the track.

Might want to get someone to fix that link to Gremlins 2; the current one is password-protected since it's directing towards whatever "zodiac.avclub.com" is instead of the normal "www" URL.

"Play it like you're not getting paid."

"Doom" can't contradict that; Savage's redemption only happens far in the future (like, "Earth has a red sun" future).

Worth noting that the McDuffie and Cyborg features are only on the blu-ray; the only one we DVD owners got was the preview of Supes v. Elite.

Initially 3 shifts, then later on 4. No, I have no idea how that actually breaks down.

In the commentaries, the creators say that Iroh's silence for most of this Book had nothing to do with Mako's passing — it just sadly worked out that way.
