Madame Web has seen the future and she sees you watching her movie at 2x speed on Netflix in three years.

Madame Web is definitely a film of 2024.

I think this is something people genuinely struggle with.

It’s pretty simple. Because The Marvels is a failure on the level of what theatrical Marvel movies are supposed to be. And is troubling from the point of view of the health of their entire market segment.

No, it’s clear to me now that Snyder needs a second pass at every project, just to creatively break even.

So, why didn’t he do it in the first place? He was literally the director and...god knows why...got the do “whatever you want”-card for these movies.

In order to give this episode an “A”, one would have to pretend as though that catastrophically bad cold open never happened, which this review cleverly did. I fear it may have turned away a lot of viewers from what was an otherwise very strong episode.

That headline alone catches what made this episode work for me to the degree it did. The writing knew what it had with Driver, so they just went weird in a delightful manner knowing that the man would be willing to commit to everything.

Translation: So may people yelled at us about this that we’re not doing it anymore.

I’ve said it before, but I like saying it, so I’ll say it again: Zaslav really needs to be kicked in the dick multiple times. 

I might be wrong but - defeat in WW2 set Japan back to zero. Now along comes Godzilla and he’s taking them below zero, to minus one.

The only issue I have with Disney failing is it feeds the neck beards “Get Woke, Go broke” narrative when the fact is that they just have made a lot of crap lately 

Yeah for all the Drunk Uncle stories, Thanksgiving is most adults’ favorite holiday.  Eat, drink, chill, watch some football, take a walk on a cool afternoon, eat leftovers...it’s just a low-key good time.
