Alas, the NASCAR rain delay pushed everything back a week. Boo.
It’s four hours long now because every shot is slo-mo.
Oh that was intentional? I thought I just watched a bootlegged trailer on YouTube or something.
Ang Lee’s Hulk seemed to be going for this.
$70 million in reshoots and the CGI still looks like garbage.
After going 200% over budget.
Blue Sky is not the hill to die on if you want diverse and non-homogenized animation. Aside from Peanuts, everything they do looks like off-brand Disney.
This sucks for the people who are losing their jobs in a pandemic recession, but it also makes sense for Disney to focus the brand. Everyone knows Disney Animation. Everyone knows Pixar. I doubt 1 in 10 random people could name a Blue Sky movie.
Gethard did a very funny comedy set called Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese, which is all New Jersey material. (And if you get the title reference, you will probably enjoy the album.)
Yeah, I’d watch a five minute youtube clip about it, but I don’t think there’s 85 minutes of content.
I mean, I can accept that when he was backwards writing and lettering around Joe’s head that “Cronenberg’s Jewelry” turned into
Cronemberg’s Jewery.” Everyone here has made an embarrassing mistake or typo and if that were all this would be a minor story.
WHERE IS JA JA DING DONG FOR BEST SONG, YOU COWARDS?!?!?
I personally find it to be the worst of the DCEU, slightly beneath Suicide Squad and BvS, mainly because it’s dull and uninspired and a total mish-mash of styles. (Snyder dourness cuts to Whedon quips and it doesn’t fit together at all.)
The only real question I have is will it be dumber that Battleship: The Movie?
Yeah, I agree. Even if it made plot sense to have Rose stay with Leia, there was no need to cast JJ’s pal Dominic Monaghan and have him do all the dialogue Rose should’ve gotten. It was a conscious choice to minimize a character the trolls didn’t like.
Right. Characters that feel different and don’t fit in and get strange new “powers” right around puberty that make people hate them. Gee, dunno what that could be referencing!
This is exactly why I watch episodes of Law & Order I’ve seen three times already. I just like the background noise and the familiarity.
Agreed. S3 was rage inducing precisely because it DIDN’T focus on a well known case of police brutality. It just showed what a nightmare the justice system is for anyone who gets caught up in its workings. Ep 1 was all about a woman who got caught up in a bar fight and got charged with punching a cop, even though the…
It better be an all Muppet version.
