I don't understand why companies do that sort of thing… is it an attempt to control the entire market by owning all major competitor or competitor adjacent services?
my favourite part about the markets are always right thing is… if tomorrow, a perfect world version of libertarianism were to suddenly be enacted, it would largely benefit those who have already amassed a huge amount of resources (or at least to a relative point of self sufficiency)
