It is the fallacy of the American Dream. The idea that the “haves” are so because they have worked harder than the rest. The “have-nots” are lazy, shiftless and fail to take responsibility for themselves. The rest of us are caught in between but always moving towards the top!

He was wrong, he learned better, and now he’s doing something. No matter if it doesn’t convince a single person, there’s honor in this.
