I live in WI and have around 160ah of LiFePo4 in my (gas-powered) car, and I live in WI. I havent had any issues with battery capacity even with the car sitting unused for many days at a time. LiFePo4 is also pretty decent in the cold for charging, unless its REAAAAAAALLY cold. There are definitely better options now…
