I’m totally confused by this study. How could one cohort of participants be told to eat fewer than 20 carbs daily while eating loads of vegetables? One raw bell pepper has 6 carbs.

Uhm... the OVA was 3 episodes. The subsequent series was 26 episodes just like most Anime seasons. (And makes a lot more sense than the OVA.)
