“That escalated quickly.” I know it’s a cliché, albeit a fitting one for a hill climb race. But it’s all I could…
The original train line was built on a geologically unstable mountainside, and was plagued with landslides, derailments and fatal accidents. They decided to tunnel through the mountain to re-route the line, so the station was relocated underground inside the tunnel.
Yes, commercial jet engines windmill, they do not have rotor brakes that prevent the fan from spinning. On windy days you can see them spinning on the ground when the engine is off. The engine was turned off, but at the velocity a jet is moving through the air that fan was still spinning pretty quickly, hence the…
I never cease to be amazed by the incredible beauty and precision of the drone shots coming out of the WRC. It wasn’t that long ago that shots of a vehicle of this caliber required coordination between film crews and drivers, practice runs, and multiple takes. Now we’re getting stuff like this from a live sporting…
Here’s our man Robb Holland’s finished Pikes Peak salvage Corvette Z06. We’re disappointed he went so conservative on the front splitter, but otherwise it looks incredible.
I wouldn’t ;)

Nah he’s not going to fuck up. I’m not saying this as a Howard fan (I’m not — I feel a lot of his recent movies have been dull). He has deep professional and social connections with the Lucasfilm family, and he’s a skilled, polished director. He’s doing this as a favor to Kennedy, and doesn’t need the proverbial notch…

Cue why not both meme in 3...2...1...
Agreed - I loved that movie. I saw the preview at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland.
The BBC is in the very early stages of bringing a live-action Dracula series based on Bram Stoker’s novel to…
Something something porsh....JACKIE CHAN AND REBELLION?! Well done, guys. Fricking amazing. For a racing “traditionalist” there’s a tiny bit of Schadenfreude in all the hybrid failures, but at the same time I love that WEC advances technology arguably more than any other motorsport.
Absolutely gutted for Jordan Taylor and Corvette Racing. Jordan was killing it closing out the race and then the tire just went after the contact with the Aston. Such a sad ending to the race for him.
It also didn’t help that someone crashed into the #9 Toyota.
On the one hand, I’d love to see Brendon Hartley win a race. He and his team have scored WEC championships, but no Le Mans wins.
Billy Monger, the teenage British Formula 4 driver who lost both of his legs in a horrific crash into a stationary…
