It’s not about the billionaires. It is the fact that this is going to happen. Be it in 5, 20 or 100 years, this is something we can reasonably expect to exist. What I was commenting on is I can see where this makes sense for GM as a business. If I was a shareholder in GM I would see this as positive.

This seems like a pretty good idea. Ford has paired off with Google, so that dance partner is gone. GM will likely be the lead partner in developing the tech and the cars, so less hassle there and this gives them a production outlet to push development. Should be interesting to watch. Aside from the “get off my lawn”…

Kent used to be a normal little working class town. My grandmother lived there. From what I gather it has gone pretty far down hill in the last 15 years. I grew up in Maple Valley and that was all logging trucks and hicks before the dot com money found it.
