Bentley heard about DP from some folks and it sounded exotic and exciting. Sure, it is a bit taboo, rough and tumble and you need to be very comfortable with your mates. It’s all about endurance, getting safely through tight spots and getting through the event without too many embarrassing marks. They should be fine

So much win. In, literally, so,much win.

RadioLeMans.com will have live streaming audio commentary all weekend. They also archive their content to their website and itunes.

I was expecting some kind of added circumstance in there that helped the car over, but it pretty much just looked like it was skidding backward along the wall. That incident will probably grab some attention from the series.

I would approve of a Mad Max Mini.

This was the feed off of my iPhone on my way back from Tokyo last week. We were moving along pretty well. This was the first trip I had tried using this App on the i6. It typically stopped working on the i5 shortly after takeoff.

We raced against those guys. The car...was not fast.

We’ve had to pull trannies a couple of times, but that is close to heroic fix as I want to get. Having a good theme is great, but I am a firm believer that the car has to be reliable.

One would hope. Other side of the coin is they are a hungry dog and they get pointed at South Korea and are told to go find the fresh, capitalist steak. Hungry dogs can be mean.

True, not arguing the dedication of the team that supports the aircraft. I was just commenting that if you look at other similarly aged CF6-80C2 powered aircraft you will see repairs to the acoustic liners.

Motorsports and an air show? It is just like Goodwood, but less British. Have fun. Dif fast and take chances.

I’ve done some work with IAI. Very smart folks. Practical about their engineering too. Doesn’t need to be “perfect” but it needs to work.

True. When price is no issue why repair?

Glad to hear it is finally open. We’ve been watching construction from day 1 as we’re are pretty much next door. I wish they had a more reasonably priced dinning facility as a number of U.S. Would be inclined to pop in for lunch. If you would have taken this shot looking about 10 degrees to the right you would have

I was noticing that as well. No acoustic panel repairs that I can see.

I’m thinking on taking in a restoration project for a late ‘60s early ‘70s vehicle. You know, something before smog and with some power. Having the rover would be needed for authenticity. While it wouldn’t be numbers matching, one of them on the moon would work fine.

I think the Guild of Calamitous Intent would be a more appropriate NASCAR sponsor. Perhaps for a plate race or Bristol?

Hmmm, saw a guy sitting on a riding lawn mower in the bed of a truck on 285 a month or so ago.

Here you go.

The space plane from 2001. What should have been. Single stage to orbit to the space station and a quick transfer to the moon base.
