That is easy if it is just the MiG or the Bug to choose from.

Matt, thanks for looking out for us aviation geeks and occasionally letting us contribute to Jalopnik. It is good to see that you guys understand that hooning isn't limited to cars.

There is a weird part of me that is interested in dropping in some kind of small turbo motor. Could be entertaining.

I have a 68 Mustang with the I6 in storage at my parent's place. It was my first car and I bought it around 1990. Frankly, a 6 was probably a good safe motor for a first time driver. Your comments do hit home a bit. I've been thinking of pulling it out of storage and doing something with it. Keep it stock or drop

It tells you something when so many international organizations are saying this is a dumb idea. Be good to people. Seems pretty simple to me.

No doubt. That seems to be the way the government goes as well. Keeping the critical assets alive.

Tyler, is Boeing paired with Northrup again? How much do you think politics, as opposed to design, will drive the choice?

A great piece of planelopnik! The MiG-25 is like a lot of bat shit crazy planes of the era. Huge power, questionable survivability and the desire to instill fear in your opponents.

That was a heck of a write up. It is interesting to play the what if game with the Lockheed ' s cost pet unit basis and the size of the fkeet, but there is a good chance that it would have seen some of the same production number cuts that the B -2 did. That said, people remember and maybe Lockheed will have another

Looks like a horrible spectator track and there is no way that narrow bit under the arch would fly.

Just being contrary.

Big question would be cost per unit. I wonder how excited dealerships would be with the elimination of timing belt changes. I would imagine that they are a moneymaker.

No cams, no rockers, no timing belt/chain, less noise, lighter motor, less stuff to lube. I like it. I like it a lot. I wonder what kind of life this thing would have. Would you have to replace the actuators every 60k?

I'm not sure. Bernie's guys run a pretty tight ship.

Sorry. The BMW/Ausi image above was a photoshop. There were other legit images though.

I just thought it was funny that they raised the one banner and then the other. They should have waited until the suit had walked off.

This is pretty good as well.

Now playing

Regardless of your political leanings, the execution of this one is pretty funny
