Watched it with the future hoons in our house a couple of months ago. They loved it. It holds up well enough for a 6 and 3 year old. The loved Buddy Hackett! I was also impressed by the great cars in the movie. Just cool stuff out running around before they became high dollar collectibles.

Yup. I've been to every one since they started. One of my favorite events. With all that is happening with ALMS/GrandAM and the uncertain future I'm definitely going this year.

Audio books. Seriously. Find a good one and enjoy. Last one I went through was Anthony Bourdain's Kirchen Confidencial. Listened to it on the drive up to Indy for the 500 in May. You might need two or three. You can check them out from the library and rib them with iTunes before you go...or so I have been told.

Ha! I've done my fair share of iron butt runs, the MCO-ATL run is jus not a fun bit of road.

Thanks for the QOTD! It was an ok drive and I got to talk with a friend for several hours. Never a bad thing. Trouble was I had made that drive several times and the novelty of reading the signs for the truck stop strip clubs had worn off.
