Shorter version, if you just want the list of the list of what she says are "Eight things developers can do to make games less shitty for women", paraphrased from my notes... not that a lot of this pertain to action games and probably make more sense if you're thinking about first and third-person shooters, the Arkham

Damn I forgot this Konami gem too! Wow! Great choice!!

Ivy is a gluten for punishment isn't she.

So. Would you buy this costume?

Oh god... Yes... I was literally playing this and Aladdin on my Sega on Christmas when consoles got the DDOS attack

I came here looking for this. I'm super surprised it wasn't mentioned in this post. This game was fucking rad.

No it wasn't.

That game is damn near impossible. I barely beat it using an emulator with cheats and save states.

Good thing it's a videogame and not a comic, and in terms of gameplay Sacarecrow has had the best implementation in this franchise .... by far.

While I've liked all the batman games (yes, including origins), It's mostly because of the gameplay. The plot hasn't been very good in any of them so I'd rather they get a bad

Actually, Bane is extremely intelligent and one of the better Batman villains. Scarecrow's a decent villain, but he mainly strikes fear in opponents by drugging them, the character himself doesn't have many psychological elements going for him. Two-Face, Hush, and especially the Joker have had some bone-chilling

Yo, Evan, we gotta fight on a mountaintop now. Arkham Scarecrow is awesome.

Not even because it's especially hard, it just had a lot of bullshit "leap of faith" jumps necessary to beat it.

I'd agree if—nah, you're just wrong. Scarecrow was one of the best parts of Arkham Asylum and looks like he's going to be amazing in AK. I'm curious how Rocksteady is going to mess with the player this time around. (maybe the entire first half of the game is a hallucination and Bats has been terrorizing innocent

it's totally the contra version of ducktales (repurposed megaman engine)! brilliant. music ain't half bad either... too bad bucky didn't have the benefit of the disney machine going for it.. and btw, the player in this video is damn good at this game. thing looks tough, especially when bucky whips out his 'don't

I also wanted to post this. The original game is so great, and I agree on that soundtrack! What I find disappointing is that none of the sequels even come close to matching the feel and fluidity of this game. Rocket Knight on 360/PS3 was such a let down, even after they went through the trouble of remixing the Stage 1

Definitely mentioned this one myself :)

Played this everyday for about a year.

My mom used to see me playing GTA 3 back in the day and ask, "Why did you just blow through that intersection? Aren't you going the wrong way? That was a red light!"

I've heard people do stuff like this before and it just never appealed to me. I never even thought to do it. Whenever I play a game that gives me a choice, and especially in an RPG, I always base my in-game behavior on what I would do in real life in that same situation. I still remember how bad I felt when I

I bought a 5.1 Logitech system back in '05. Still running strong and sounds great.
